Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website, richxstudio.com (“the Site”), is operated by RICHX S.R.L., a company registered in Satu Mare, Romania, trading as RichX Software Solutions (“RICHX”, “we”, “us”). RICHX S.R.L. is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

This policy covers the Site and the way we handle enquiries about our software development services. Each of our own apps has its own privacy policy, listed in section 10.

2. Information we collect

You can browse the Site without giving us any personal data. We only receive personal data when you choose to send it to us, or as technically necessary to deliver the Site:

  • Project request form. When you request an offer we receive your name, email address, phone number (with country code), company name if you give one, the type of project, and the project description you write.
  • Support form. When you contact us through richxstudio.com/support we receive the app you selected, your email address, the subject and your message. If you open the form from inside one of our apps, it may also include that app's random installation identifier, so we can match your request to the right crash or diagnostic report. That identifier is shown to you on the form before you send it.
  • Direct email and phone. If you write to us or call us, we receive whatever you include in your message or tell us during the call, along with your email address or phone number.
  • Technical request data. Like any website, the servers that deliver the Site process your IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the pages, keep the Site secure and diagnose errors.

3. What we do not collect

  • The Site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and no social media tracking pixels.
  • The Site does not set cookies for tracking or advertising. Fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not send your data to a font provider.
  • We do not ask for payment details on the Site and we do not run user accounts on it.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site works without cookies. Your language is chosen from the address you visit (for example /en, /ro or /hu), not stored in a cookie. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to route and protect traffic. Because we use no non-essential cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

5. How we use your information

  • To reply to your project request, prepare an offer, discuss your project and, if we agree to work together, prepare and carry out a contract.
  • To answer support questions about our apps.
  • To deliver, secure and troubleshoot the Site, and to prevent abuse of the forms.
  • To keep records we are required to keep by law, for example accounting records once a contract is signed.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not add you to a newsletter or marketing list.

6. Legal basis (GDPR)

  • Steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) when you ask us for an offer or about a project.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in answering support questions and messages, and in operating and protecting the Site.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) where we must keep records, for example under Romanian tax and accounting law.

7. Service providers we use

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with the providers that help us run the Site, who act as our data processors:

  • Vercel Inc. hosts the Site and processes the technical request data described in section 2, including short-lived server logs. Vercel privacy policy.
  • Resend delivers the messages you send through the project request and support forms to our inbox. Resend privacy policy.
  • Google (Gmail) hosts the mailbox richx.soft@gmail.com, where form messages and direct emails are received and stored. Google privacy policy.

Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it is protected by the safeguards these providers offer, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

8. Data retention

  • Project requests and related correspondence that do not lead to a contract are kept for up to 2 years after our last exchange, so we can follow up on the same enquiry, and then deleted.
  • Support messages are kept for up to 2 years after the issue is resolved.
  • If we sign a contract with you, related records are kept for as long as Romanian law requires (for accounting documents, currently up to 10 years).
  • Hosting logs are kept by Vercel for a short period according to its own retention settings, and are not used by us to identify visitors.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry earlier at any time, as long as we are not required to keep it by law.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at richx.soft@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Romania this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro). You may also contact the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

10. Our apps

This policy covers this website only. Each of our apps has its own privacy policy, linked from its store listing, which describes exactly what that app collects.

11. Security

The Site is served only over HTTPS. Form input is validated and escaped before it is emailed to us, and access to our mailbox and provider accounts is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

12. Children's privacy

The Site and our services are aimed at businesses and adults. They are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the Site or the providers we use change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

14. Governing law

This policy is governed by Romanian law and by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
