Speedro: Slow Mo & Fast Video

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 April 2026

1. Who we are

Speedro: Slow Mo & Fast Video (“the App”) is operated by RichX Software Solutions. We take your privacy seriously: the App is built so your videos never leave your device during editing.

2. On-device video processing

All video editing — speed adjustment, reversal, frame interpolation, encoding — happens locally on your device. We do not upload, copy, stream, or store your videos or any of the frames they contain. The processed video stays on your device until you choose to share or save it.

3. Information we collect

  • Anonymous crash reports and stability diagnostics via Google Firebase Crashlytics. These include device model, OS version, app version, and the stack trace of an error. They do not include any video content, filenames, or personal identifiers.
  • Anonymous usage events via Google Firebase Analytics (e.g. “app opened”, “render started”). These help us understand which features are used and prioritise improvements.
  • Locally stored preferences — the onboarding completion flag, selected language, and a history of your processed videos (stored on your device only). These never leave your device.

4. Information we do NOT collect

  • Your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifying information.
  • Your videos, images, or any content derived from them.
  • Your location.
  • Your contacts or social media accounts.

5. Permissions the App requests

  • Photo / video library access — to let you pick the video you want to edit.
  • Photos library write access — only when you tap “Save to Gallery”, to write the processed video back to your device.

You may revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device's system settings.

6. Third-party services

We use Google Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics, Remote Config) to keep the app stable and improve it. Firebase processes only the anonymous data described in section 3. Review Google's privacy information for Firebase for details.

7. Data retention

Anonymous crash and analytics data is retained by Firebase for the defaults set by Google (typically up to 14 months for event-level data). Locally stored preferences and history remain on your device until you delete them from the app or uninstall it.

8. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will remove it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the limited data described in section 3, and to object to its processing. Because we collect only anonymous diagnostic data tied to random install IDs, individual-level access requests are generally not technically possible, but you can stop all collection at any time by uninstalling the App.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
