Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or playing Sideways (“the App”) you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is published by RICHX S.R.L., Satu Mare, Romania (“we”, “us”).
2. License
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on a device that you own or control, subject to the rules of the store you obtained it from (Google Play or the Apple App Store).
3. Free to play
The App is free. It has no account or login, no ads, no in-app purchases, and no payments of any kind.
4. Play safely
Sideways is a game. Drifting, speeding, and the other driving shown in the App are fictional and must never be imitated on public roads. Do not play while driving, cycling, or walking in traffic, and take breaks during long sessions. The App may use vibration for haptic feedback.
5. Your progress
Your progress and settings are stored only on your device. There is no cloud backup: uninstalling the App or clearing its data removes your progress permanently, and we cannot restore it.
6. Intellectual property
The App, its name, logo, icons, artwork, sounds, and underlying software are owned by RICHX S.R.L. and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App or its assets except as expressly permitted by law.
7. Prohibited uses
You agree not to (a) tamper with, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App, (b) use the App to build a competing product, (c) use the App in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our services, or (d) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its related systems.
8. Third-party services
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the App is additionally subject to the terms of the store you downloaded it from.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall RICHX S.R.L. be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or game progress, arising out of your use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your right to use the App at any time without notice if you breach these terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Satu Mare, Romania, unless otherwise required by consumer-protection law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
